Beginner Needle Felting: Creating a 3D Snowman Ornament
This class introduces the fun and easy craft of needle felting, often referred to as "strategic stabbing". Using a specialized barbed needle and loose wool roving, you will learn the foundational techniques for forming shapes to create three-dimensional figure of a snowman.
What you'll learn:
Overview of different types of wool and needles used in felting.
Techniques for sculpting basic forms and troubleshooting common problems and well as a few tricks.
How to make and join simple shapes to create a finished project.
Project: Participants will create a snowman ornament to take home.
Details: No prior experience is necessary, and all materials are included in the class fee.
Class is open for those that are 13 and over (due to the whole needle stabbing part.)
